Today we’d like to introduce you to Kice Akkawi.
Hi Kice, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I was born in the USA but lived in Jordan for a few years as a kid. Now, I am a DJ and producer based out of Chicago and started that in 2007. Also, I am the founder of Treblemonsters, an artist agency, and music consulting agency that services both top-tier global talent and venues internationally. Our clients include names in the nightlife, hospitality, and corporate worlds. The past few years I have been a touring act as Treble Squad, integrating my original music and Treblemonsters artists on saxophone and violin. With sets at Burning Man, Northern Nights Music Festival, Hard Rock, Sound-Bar Nightclub, PRYSM Nightclub, and a few other notable venues.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
It was more difficult in the beginning. But over time, we live and learn and get better at managing some obstacles. Personally, trust and loyalty is what I look for first in any staff or artist. If they can provide that, we can provide the rest. From there – the rest is smooth sailing!
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
As a DJ/Producer I am work House/EDM productions. As for Treblemonsters, my team and I are managing over 100+ artists booked every weekend as DJs, singers, bands, instrumental artists, A/V techs and more in the entertainment world. Finally. my band Treble Squad includes MGabriel on saxophone and Violin Girl on siolin while I DJ.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
When micro-goals achieved on the road to the macro goals. Measure progress first then results. This will eventually lead to “success.”
